====== Castle Siege ======

The weekly guild war for the Castle in the Valley of Loren. When the battle calls, participants are **moved to the siege battleground automatically** - there is no server to pick.

===== The weekly cycle =====

  * The siege runs on a **7-day cycle**.
  * Early in the week, guilds **register** for the siege.
  * **Sign of the Lord** drops from monsters. The guilds that submit the most signs qualify to attack.
  * The **battle** is fought on the final day of the cycle, **20:00 - 21:00 server time**. One hour. Break the gates, crush the statues, hold the Lord's Seal.
  * The winning guild holds the castle - and everything that comes with it - until next week's battle.

===== The gear rule =====

**Only ancient set / pieces are allowed in the siege.** Helm, armour, pants, gloves and boots must all be ancient items - anything else gets you a warning, then removed from the battleground. Weapons, wings, pets, pendants and rings are unrestricted. Ancient Sets come from the **White Wizard invasion** - see [[events:overview|Events]].
