Character Progression
A roadmap - what to do next, in order. Each step links to the page that
covers it properly, so this one stays short on purpose.
^ Stage ^ Goal ^
| 1 | Equip your T1 kit |
| 2 | Grind resets to max stats |
| 3 | Buy Wing 2 |
| 4 | Start running events |
| 5 | Medusa for T2, then Kundun for T3 - **fill every socket as you get it** |
| 6 | Craft Wing 3 |
| 7 | Selupan for T4 - **fill all three sockets** |
| 8 | Guild + siege, then Erohim for T5 - **Di spheres from here on** |
| 9 | Uber Kundun: Normal, Nightmare, Hell for T6 and Wing 4 |
| 10 | Push everything to +15 and fill every socket with your best seeds |
| 11 | Time to PvP |
1. Your starting kit
Every new character is created wearing a full **T1 +15 full-option set**,
plus **Wing 1 +15 FO** (DW/DK/FE/SU) or a **clean Wing 2** (MG/DL/RF).
Equip all of it. Do not spend coins on gear yet - everything below
replaces it anyway. See Gear T1-T6.
2. Grind your stats first
Before anything else, get your stats maxed. Reset at level 400, over and
over. Set it running and leave it:
/reset auto
/addstr auto 32767
/addvit auto 32767
Those keep resetting you and keep spending the points for you - see
Commands. The MU Helper does the
killing while you are away. This stage is the longest one on the list,
and everything after it is far easier with the stats behind you.
3. Wing 2
If you have the Goblin Points, buy **Wing 2** from the
X-Shop. It is a cheap, large upgrade over Wing 1 and it
carries you until Wing 3. Full details on Wings.
4. Start running events
Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle and Illusion Temple all run on
a fixed timetable. They pay **jewels**, **Gemstones** (which drop
nowhere else on this server), spheres, and - in the highest Blood
Castles - a rare **Divine Archangel weapon**. Winners are paid in
Goblin Points, and entry tickets are bought with Goblin Points, so
events fund themselves once you start winning.
Everything about them, including the invasion timetable, is on
Events & Invasions.
5. T2, T3 - and your sockets
Now start upgrading tiers. Every set from T2 up drops at **+13, full
option, excellent** - what actually separates the tiers is **socket
count**.
^ Tier ^ Kill ^ Where ^ Sockets ^
| T2 | **Medusa** | Swamp of Calmness, several times a day | 1 |
| T3 | **Kundun** | Devias, five times a day | 2 |
**Fill every socket the moment you get the gear.** Medusa is forgiving
and you can beat her with empty sockets. **Kundun is not.** An
unsocketed set takes roughly **triple damage** from him and from every
boss after him - no amount of potions saves you. Sockets are not a
late-game luxury on this server, they are the entry ticket to each
boss.
Extract seeds, bind them into spheres, mount them at the Seed
Researcher - three stages, each with its own success rate. **Mono
spheres are enough all the way through Selupan.** See
Sockets & Spheres and
Chaos Goblin Mix.
Clear T2 before you go for Kundun. Both bosses are on
Events & Invasions, and the complete tier table -
all six tiers, their socket counts, and which weapon each class gets -
is on Gear T1-T6.
6. Wing 3
Wing 3 is crafted in two stages at the Chaos Goblin. The part that
takes time is the **Flame of Condor**, which drops in the **Balgass
Barracks** - start farming it while you are working through the tiers
above. You also need an ancient item and a pile of jewels.
Recipes and success rates: Chaos Goblin Mix.
7. T4 - Selupan
With T3 done, head to Raklion for **Selupan**. His
sets come with **3 sockets** and are the gear that carries you toward
Erohim.
**Fill all three before you move on.** Mono spheres still do the job at
this tier - but an unsocketed T4 set is weaker against Erohim than a
fully socketed T3 one.
8. Guild, siege, and the door to T5
**T5 comes from Erohim in the Land of Trials, and the siege is how you
get access.** So join a guild - or make your own - well before you need
it.
**Castle Siege requires a full ancient set.** Helm,
armour, pants, gloves and boots must //all// be ancient items or you
get warned and then removed from the battleground. Weapons, wings,
pets, pendants and rings are unrestricted.
Ancient sets drop from the **White Wizard invasion**, which hits
Lorencia, Devias or Noria. Start collecting them early - this catches
people out. Full rules on Castle Siege.
**Erohim is where Mono spheres stop being enough.** From this boss
onward you need **Di or better in every socket**. A full set of Mono
against Erohim is treated as half-empty, and half-empty gets you
killed.
9. Uber Kundun - the raid ladder
A five-player raid with three difficulties, and each one gates the
next on the gear the previous one drops:
^ Difficulty ^ Requirement ^ Drops ^
| Normal | - | Azerite (T6), Tri spheres |
| Nightmare | **Wing 3 on all five of you** | More Azerite, more Tri |
| Hell | **Full T6 equipped** | Everything above, plus **Wing 4** |
This is where T6 and Wing 4 come from. Bring four friends -
Uber Kundun.
10. +15 and your best seeds
This is the polish stage, and it is worth more than it looks.
* **Push every piece to +15.** Going from +13 to +15 gives a real damage and damage-reduction increase on top of the tier stats.
* **Refill every socket with your best seeds.** Tri or better everywhere - the Uber Kundun raid hands out Tri spheres, so by now you should have them. Swapping Mono out for Tri is a straight upgrade with no downside.
A +15 T6 set with Tri in every socket is as strong as gear gets on this
server. Anything past this point is preference, not power.
11. Time to PvP
Gear is finished. Now go use it.
* **Duel** anyone, - see Commands.
* **PvP events** Look out for GM's PvP events.
* **Keep farming Hell** if you want a specific **Wing 4 option** - Execute, Dispel, Amplify or Cheat Death. This is what serious PvP players chase, and it is the one thing still worth grinding for. See New Stats.
Some people stop at stage 10 and are happy. Some spend months hunting
the exact wing option they want. Both are the endgame.
Watch for GM events
On top of the fixed timetable, GMs run **surprise events** - hide and
seek and similar - with bonus rewards. They are announced in game and
they are not on any schedule, so keep an eye on chat.
